I’m good at cooking Korean food.

I like to play basketball and cards.

My favorite kinds of food are kimchi stew and cream sauce pasta.

My favorite kinds of music are jazz and rhythm and blues (R&B).

I was born in Daejeon.

* Where do you live now?

Now I live in Incheon, in Inha University’s student dormitory.

I have gone to Daejeon and Osaka, Japan.

I want to go to Montreal, Canada.

* Describe your family.

I have a father, mother, and one younger brother. My father works in an office for LG. My mother is a nurse. My younger brother is a high school student.

* Who are your best friends?

My best friends are Kim Ji-young and Park Chul-soo.

* What are your dreams or future plans?

I hope to become a business man and to fly around the world in a hot-air balloon.

I did not do well in English in high school. So, I want to get a good mark in this class. So, I will study hard here.

She lived in America for six years. At university, she studied psychology, but changed her major to music.

In addition to Korean, she can speak English and Japanese fluently. She can also play the piano, flute and cello.

After returning to Korea, she auditioned for YG Entertainment. They said no. So she practiced and auditioned again later. They rejected her again. She continued to try. After three years of trying, YG Entertainment accepted her as a trainee. She has been with YG Entertainment since 2005.

Recently, she debuted as part of the new group called 2NE1. She is the group’s main vocalist (singer). They have been very successful. They won contests on the TV shows Music Bank, Inki-gayo, and Music Core.
