A lot of suicides occur not only among celebrities but also among common people, and the Korean suicide rate is very high.

According to a survey the suicide rate in Korea has doubled in a decade, making Korea the highest suicide-rate country among the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) member countries. In a survey almost 25 out of every 100,000 people committed suicide. The rate in korea is highter than that of anyother country(10.1 in the United States, 19.1 in Japan, and six in the United Kingdom)[4]
