What is “Hallyu”?

Our presentation is about “Hallyu” stars.
A “Hallyu” star is defined as a “famous korean in the world”.
-Sport’s hallyu stars are Kim Yu Na, Park Ji Sung, Lee Chung Yong.
Kim Yu Na is figure skater.
She won a gold medal in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Park Ji Sung and Lee Chung Yong are soccer players.
They made miraculous victories for their teams.

-Movie’s hallyu stars are Bae Yong Joon, Lee Byung Hun.
Lee Byung Hun’s famous movie is “The Good, The Bad, and The Weird”.

Bae Yong Joon’s famous movie is “Winther Sonata”.

-Singer hallyu stars are Girls’ generation, Rain.
Rain’s hit music is “Love Song” in 2010.

Girls’ generation’s hit music is “Tell me your wish”.
They have earned a lot of money from concerts in foreign contries.

Vocaburary
-Figure Skating(noun);Skation in an attractive pattern, usually with spins and jumps included.
-Miraculous(Adjection);People believe that the event was caused by god.
-victory(noun);Success in a struggle,war, or competition.
-olympic(noun);Relating to the olympic games.
-sonata(noun);A piece of classical music written either for a single instrument, or for one instrumnet and a piano.
-foreign(adjection);Something or someone that is foreign comes from or relates to a country that is not your own.
