Our presentation is about Hanbok. Hanbok is defined as “Korean traditional clothes”. But recently, there was an incident in which someone wearing a Hanbok was banned from the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. So, the public image of Hanbok suffered as a result of that. Hanbok shouldn’t be treated like that.

We will introduce Hanbok’s strong points.
First, Hanbok has enough size for your body to move freely and actively. First, Hanbok is big enough for your body to move freely and actively. For example, Hanbok pants are asymmetry. For example, you can adjust hanbok pants to fit your waist size. So fold one side to fit waist size by tightened a belt. You can do this by folding one side and then tightening it with a belt. When someone stretches legs, folded portion becomes unfolded and make a new space. When someone stretches their legs, the folded portions become unfolded and gives them room to move. This strengthens Hanbok’s active. This makes hanbok suitable for active people. Moreover, Development of modernized Hanbok strengthens strengthen Hanbok’s ease. Moreover, hanbok have been modernized to make them even more suitable for active people.

Second, Hanbok is a scientific clothes because Hanbok is wide between the feathers, So it cool the chest and it tie waist, So it help to warm the belly. Secondly, hanbok is scientific clothing because there is a gap between the clothing and one’s body. So it cools the chest and fits snugly around the waist, and also helps to warm the belly.

Third, Hanbok is in harmony with the body and reveal the natural flavors. Hanbok’s natural flavor is discovered by seeking natural color and curve. For example, when colors of Jeogori, skirt and front ribbons are harmony whit each other, we find color rhythm. Furthermore we can find natural flavors in Korean socks’s curved, fine pleat of skirt and Korean overcoat’s round sleeve. Thirdly, hanbok is in harmony with the body and exhibits natural beauty. Hanbok’s natural beauty is created by using natural colors and curves. For example, the colors of the “jeogori” (hanbok top), skirt, and front ribbons are in harmony with each other, so we can see color coordination. Furthermore, we can see the natural beauty in the curves of traditional Korean socks, the fine pleats of skirts, and in the round sleeves of Korean overcoats.

Thus, Hanbok is proud clothes which show our traditional style and grace. Thus, hanbok is clothing that we can be proud of because of its traditional style and grace. Let’s love and preserve Hanbok!
