Which country’s food do you like?
Our group favorite food is korean food.
We introduce korean food recipes for you.

1. Glossary

broth : Broth is a kind of soup. It usually has vegetables or rice in it.

impurity : Impurities are substances that are present in small quantities in another substance and make it dirty or of an unacceptable quality.

potassium : Potassium is a soft silvery-white chemical element, which occurs mainly in compounds. These compounds are used in making such things as glass, soap, and fertilizers

pollack : a gadoid food fish, Pollachius pollachius, that has a dark green back and a projecting lower jaw and occurs in northern seas, esp the North Atlantic Ocean

sesame : Sesame is a plant grown for its seeds and oil, which are used in cooking

2. Recipes

seaweed soup

ingredients: dried pollack , sea weed , sesame oil , soy sauce , salt

recipe
1. clean seaweed and soak it in cold water for 1hour
2. cut dried pollack into small pieces
3. season dried pollack with soy sauce and sesame oil
4. put seaweed and dried pollack in pot
5. fry it on medium heat
6. add 1.5L water in pot and boil it for 5minutes on high heat
7. when it boils turn the heat down to low and continue to boil for 20 minutes
8. it the soup is bland , add salt
9. mission complete! eat the seaweed soup!

effect: seaweed has low calories but it has many nutrients
also it help to clean your blood because it promotes the circulation of the blood
you feel stickiness when you touch seaweed. that is dietary fiber
dietary fiber prevents many diseases. so seaweed soup is the best soup in korea.

Zucchini pancake

Do you like rice wine? Then, What foods do you think it good harmony with the kind of wine? I like some kinds of Korean pancakes. Especially, I like zucchini pancake.
I’ll present zucchini pancakes recipe.
You need to prepare zucchini, salt, flour, an egg, and so on…..
These are the usual ingredients.

1. Slice zucchini at the same thickness. and, add salt to the sliced zucchinis and mix.
2. Sliced zucchinis cover with egg.
3. Place flour in a bowl. Add sliced zucchinis and mix to coat them with flour.
4. Heat up a frypan and add oil to pan.
5. Sliced zucchinis place onto the heated pan.
6. Cook for 1 minute. and turn it over. and cook 1 minute more.
7. Serve zucchini pancakes warm.

p.s With rice wine is recommended to eat. It can save your stomach.

broth soup recipe

put beef leg bone and beef in cold water and change water afetr 3 to 4 hours
put beef leg bone beef in boiling water and boil for 10minutes and get rid of the water
put them in fresh water over medium heat for 3 hours after, filter out impurities
take out beef leg bone and cut off the beef
put the bone back in the water and boil for 3hours
chil it and take out oil
make a beef leg bone soup for 6hours
boil 3 to 4 times and take out oil and mix them
a thick beef soup has potassinm
and has a lot of protein so they help healing
ingredient is 5kgs of beef leg bone lots of water bisket of beef and shin fore shank

kimchi’s recipe

ingredients: chinese cabbage, radish, fish sauce, garlic, red pepper powder, salt, sugar

1.slice chinese cabbage lengthwise from the head into 4 pieces

2.wash the cabbage well and soak cabbage in salty water

3.leave them to soak in water for 6hours

4.when the cabbage looks well salted, drain and squeeze well

5.slice the radish thinly into pieces 5 cm in length

6.spice the sliced radish with crushed garlic, ginger, red pepper powder, salt, sugar and fish sauce

7.mix all ingredients together

8.carefully place the sliced radish with added flavouring in each leaf, starting with the big leaves

9.put the cabbage in a jar
